Tuscany is the home of the Italian art, language and culture. In a landscape that brings to mind some Renaissance paintings , we find the agritouristic"village" of Selvole amidst the vines and olive trees..
The "village" complex which is located about 400 metres from the winery, office and the cellar, consists of five old farmhouses that have been converted and divided into 21 apartments of different size and shape. At the centre of it all is a swimming pool, and guests can enjoy complete peace and tranquillity here.
All the buildings were once farmhouses inhabited by the farmers working at Selvole. Now they have been completely restored , while keeping at the same time the atmosphere of an old farmhouse. The apartment are divided into three groups, identified by names of local flowers: Geranio, Margherita, Ginestra. They consist of two main types, a larger one that can accommodate from 4 to 6 persons, while the smaller one can accommodate from two to four persons.
The larger apartment has two double rooms (one with one double bed, the other with two singles bed) plus a double sofa-bed in the living/kitchen. The smaller apartment has one double bedroom and can host two more persons on a double sofabed in the living/kitchen. This flexibility allows us to satisfy the different needs of our guests. All apartments have a kitchen and are completely furnished. The linens are also provided and are changed once a week for people staying longer than a week. More frequent changes are possible upon request and payment of a small fee. Each apartment will have some space in front with tables and chairs.

Selvole offers several services to its guests. Besides the swimming pool , the guests can use the pingpong table, a tennis court, and an outdoor barbeque grill. Since Selvole is also a winery, you can also visit the cellar and chapel and buy our wine and extra virgin oil in our wine shop. Our staff is at your disposal to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will first meet them upon arrival, when you register .

Selvole is 12 kms or 20 minutes from Siena. Nearby you find Vagliagli, 4 kms away, with two restaurants, a bar, post office and a church. Ponte a Bozzone is about 6kms away with a restaurant, pizzeria, church, meat shop and a food shop. HOW TO REACH SELVOLE BY CAR: For those arriving from the North, exit at “Firenze Certosa” from the A1 Take the superstrada Firenze-Siena and exit at Siena Nord For those arriving from the south, get out of the highway A1 at Valdichiana to take the “Bettolle –Sinalunga exit from Siena Bettolle speedway at SIENA NORD At the Siena Nord exit, at the roundabout take the direction CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI for about 0.5 Km Cross the second roundabout and continue for about 900 mt. Turn right direction VAGLIAGLI –PIEVASCIATA-Parco Sculture Continue that road for 8 km Before Vagliagli turn right direction PIEVASCIATA and Parco sculture on the white country road Follow that road for about 3 km, going straight , direction PIEVASCIATA and Parco Sculture ( the road to Borgo Scopeto seems wider, but you have to continue straight on, don’t turn!) 500 mt after that crossing, you'll find the road sign to SELVOLE on the left. Turn left there and follow the road untill the big villa with a big iron gate . You have arrived at the reception. Park your car and come in with your id card for checking-in. We will accompany you from here to your apartments a couple of hundred kilometres ahead. NB Please don’t put « SELVOLE » if you have a navigater, because it will take you to another Selvole which is 20 minutes away. If you are going to be later than 18 hours when the reception closes, please call us ahead of time tel. 0577 322662. We recommend, however, that you try to get to us with the light in order not to get lost.
